Equipment
Here’s my equipment. I’m going to leave everything in plural in hopes of expansion. But money has been short lately.
- My cameras:
- Canon 40D – A great camera for the serious amateur.
- My lenses:
- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras
– I use this when I know I’m going to be taking pictures of things very close or far away.
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens
– I use this portrait lens when I’m with my friends. They look great with this lens!
- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras
- My bags:
- Canon 100DG Bag for Canon SLR Cameras
– a great bag that can hold a lot of different things including my camera and all my lenses. At one point I was carrying my 40D digital and my N80 film cameras and their respective lenses in this bag at the same time!
- Canon 100DG Bag for Canon SLR Cameras
- Tripod and Head:
- Manfrotto 190XB 3 Section Aluminum Tripod – a great sturdy, well-built tripod. Each leg can move independently and can lock in at 3 different angles.
- Manfrotto 128RC Micro Fluid Head – a great smooth moving head that has easily adjustable pivot resistance. Also great for video!
- Future Equipment:
- I’d like to get a backpack camera bag for easier carrying.
- I think my next lenses will be a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
and a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
.

[...] but I decided to hold off because they’re are other things I want to buy more. See my Future Equipment List.
Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to show you, but take my word, if I had to pick [...]
